Annandale Way for Super Sam 2019

Team C are back at it again for a second year. The Annandale Way Challenge is a 40 mile trek on foot, from Moffat to Annan all in memory of Super Sam Dorrance who sadly lost his life to a vicious brain tumour, aged just 5 years old.

The walk took place on Saturday 20th July and this year's brave ramblers battled against adverse weather conditions as they set off. But as always, the group came together, new friendships were forged and together they helped push each other through to the end.

A grand total of over £7,000 was raised by over 40 participants, and added to the Super Sam Fund, which is raising money for The Brain Tumour Charity in loving memory of Sam.

The group celebrated their incredible achievement with a pint or two at the Bluebell In in Annan. It was a double celebration as the funds raised in this year's Annandale Way event takes the grand total in Super Sam's Fund to over £150,000 - just incredible!

Well done to all involved.
